Peter Rabbits Organics is a company with fabulous values. Their mission is to provide busy parents an easy to way to provide their children with organic, nutritious snacks with no added salt or sugar while still being environmentally friendly. Wouldn’t it be great if all food companies had similar goals? Our children would certainly be a lot healthier and our earth a better place.
Peter Rabbit Organics is very successful in the U.K. and they are now introducing their product line to the United States with their 100% organic fruit pouches. They contain no added sugar, water or artificial ingredients and they are comparable to a squeezable drink pouch or portable yogurt.
I was given the wonderful opportunity to let my boys try them out. All I can say is WOW, did they go nuts. Since I was only given three pouches I thought I would just start out by letting them share one at home so I could save the other two for when we are out somewhere and needed something portable. Big mistake. I let Lucian have half of the Strawberry Banana and then gave it to his younger brother Warren to finish off. Warren went bonkers for it, gulping it down and sucking on it long after it was gone. He got the hang of how to use it instantly. Warren threw himself on the floor and starting crying when I took his empty pouch away. He was absolutely devastated.
Of course Lucian immediately protested and begged for another one. So I opened the Apple and Grape flavor for him. Lucian finished the second one in no time flat and his response? “I need another one. Another one mommy!” I didn’t give into his pleas since he had more than one already.
These were a huge hit with my kids and I’m certain they will be for yours too. I did get just the smallest sample of the Apple and Grape and it was so very yummy. I can see why my boys love them. The other great part is their ease of use and portability. You can take them anywhere! The tops look a little complicated but they are super simple to remove.
According to their website: Peter Rabbit Organics pouches contain a full serving of fruit and are ideal for babies ready for solid food, as well as toddlers and elementary-aged kids. Kids will enjoy the fruit straight from the pouch – no spoons required! Plus, choke-free caps make them safe for the little ones.
There are three different varieties: Strawberry & Banana ~ Mango, Banana and Orange ~ Apple & Grape
You can purchase them from Amazon for $15.08 for a package of 10 (with free shipping) or you can see a list of locations here if you live in the eastern part of the country. I wish they were just a bit cheaper but given they are 100% organic fruit AND super convenient, how cheap could they be? They make a great special treat and I plan on buying a box for sure from Amazon. The hard part will be choosing which flavor. (Wouldn’t it be great if there was a variety pack?)
Peter Rabbit Organics would like to give THREE of my readers three fruit pouches (one of each flavor)!
