For those of you who regularly visit my Wordless Wednesday post you will notice something different. Yes, I have only one picture. Crazy, I know! I normally include at least a few pictures for your viewing pleasure but I just had to share with you these two adorable fawns.
I caught them relaxing, basking in the sun in our backyard. We live in town but have over an acre of land and it is not unusual to see 8 or more deer in our yard at a time. They don’t even seem to mind when we are outside and fairly close.
I used to say the deer were what has kept me from really having a garden or planting flowers since they love to nibble on anything and everything. But I’ll admit that is really just my excuse for not liking to weed!

So neat! I have similar pictures of deer in my background! I love living in the country.
Happy WW!
We sometimes have them in our yard. There are a ton at a local state park and I love getting photos of them. Thanks for sharing this one!
My son loves when we catch of glimpse of deer in the yard. Very neat!
They are beautiful. I hate living in a neighborhood with a fenced in backyard sometimes because we don't get to enjoy the beautiful creatures of nature like that. My squirrels do not compare to those beautiful fawn. Happy WW!
Wow, that's really special. We only get gophers and crows in our yard!
Aww look at them, how sweet.
They are too sweet! My middle daughter would love this pic!
Aww…how sweet! I love deer!
So beautiful! The kids must have loved them. We only have squirrels and birds. We are just under an acre, but the area around us is just too busy so the deer stay away. We have fun at my sister's in the mountains in Va though. She has bears, raccoons, deer, foxes, etc. I told her to start charging money and have people come to see her critters. Happy WW and take care.

That's awesome!! I love deer, they're so serene!
I'd love to capture a scene like that. Great shot!
Deer are my favorite.
I love deer. This is a great shot. I have plenty in my area, but they rarely show up in my backyard. Happy WW!
We also live in an area where deer sightings are fairly common but never do they relax in the field or yard. Great photo!
So sweet! Happy WW!

I love watching deer, its so peaceful. Nice pic.
Aww! Great pic
cute!!
They are so cute!
I love it — that is terrific. We have great wildlife here, too. Last night right before bed, we were on the balcony and there was a buck out on the grassy patch between the two sides of the blvd. where we live. We get a ton of deer this time of year. Nano likes to chase them – all 7 pounds of him!
What a great thing to see in your yard. They are so peaceful sitting there.
Yeah, at least you don't have to pull out the weed anymore. The fawns can do that for you, haha!
That's a very adorable photo…
