Sid the Science Kid & Dive Olly Dive {Review & Giveaway}

NCircle Entertainment, a sales, marketing and distribution company of family friendly entertainment recently sent me three great DVDs to share with my children. Two were Sid the Science Kid which was already a favorite in our household and the other was Dive Olly Dive, which we had never seen before.

Sid the Science Kid: The Bug Club features the following four fun espisodes:  Hello Doggie, Home Tweet Home, The Dirt on Dirt, and Don’t Forget the Leaves.

Sid the Science Kid: Change Happens includes these four episodes: My Mushy Banana, My Shrinking Shoes, My Ice Pops and The Perfect Pancake.

Both of these Sid the Science Kid DVDs are packed full of fun science concepts, explained in interesting and totally entertaining ways.  My favorite part of this t.v. series is not only do you learn a lot and get young children interested in science, but you get lots of fun songs to get stuck in your head! I often times find myself singing some of the regular songs like  “I’m Looking for My Friends” and “Rug Time”. And no, this isn’t just when the show is on. They are just so catchy and fun! I think our favorite episodes are My Mushy Banana (and for the record, no I wouldn’t eat one) and The Perfect Pancake. I highly recommend this show . You can see it air each day on PBS, with five new episodes to look forward to this September!

Dive Olly Dive: Ship Shape Sub teaches kids fascinating facts about ocean life and important life lessons. This is a 3D animated underwater series that takes preschoolers under the sea with two young submarines-in-training, Olly and Beth.  We had never seen this series before since it airs on PBS Sprout and we don’t currently receive that channel, but I’m happy to say we got the chance to check it out. I love the vivid colors and having a fun new series that goes underwater. The characters are very likeable and it certainly entertains my boys. I look forward to seeing more of this series!
