BabyLegs ~ Let’s Hear it for the Boys! {Review & Giveaway #19}

BabyLegs LogoBabyLegs was started by accident by Nicole, a mom who made her daughter leg warmers for her daughter when she went diaperless to get rid of diaper rash . There were obviously many other great uses like protecting knees when crawling and soon Nicole was bombarded by people asking where she got them and BabyLegs was born.

I’m sure there are still some people out there that immediately think of BabyLegs as a girl’s fashion item but I’m here to tell you that the boys needn’t be left out! There are numerous BabyLegs that are clearly made for boys. We got to try out the new Green Camo Leg Warmers from the Modish collection and there is absolutely NOTHING girly about them!

BabyLegs were perfect this summer. Living in Minnesota we had one of the coolest summers on record and BabyLegs helped my 1 1/2 year old son Warren actually get to wear some of his shorts, even when it wasn’t as warm out. They also worked great for going outside in the morning when it was a bit cooler, knowing it would be hot later in the day. I was able to still put shorts on him with BabyLegs instead of pants. Another great use for BabyLegs is the park! My son is frequently falling down and these leg warmers saved many a scrape on his knees! They also make it more comfortable for climbing on the hard park equipment!

Vacation Summer 2009 115Love the red and blue spider web design above? These have already sold out but check back October 1st for more! Be quick though, quantities will be limited.

Browsing through the huge selection, I realized how many fabulous Halloween options were available like these Hero Leg Warmers. Perfect for everyday dress up or for a superhero this Halloween.  This would work on the arms or legs!

Baby Legs HeroThe Bones Leg Warmers would be great for a skeleton! Buy two and have them on arms and legs, paint your little guy’s face, dress him in black and viola! Instant costume that is adorable and can be used afterward.

Baby Legs BonesAhoy, matey! Anyone going as a pirate? How about these Jolly Jack Leg Warmers or

Baby Legs Jolly JackRed & White Stripe Leg Warmers! These would also be fantastic for anything Christmas theme or a witch. (Think Wizard of Oz!)

Baby Legs Red & White

You could also go classic with these Punkin’!

Baby Legs Punkin

Really, the possibilities are endless with BabyLegs. I also found leg warmers for a spider, bumblebee, red flames (devil) and ladybug!  Not only do they add to the entire ensemble, but they also are easily removed which give you more options for warmth. Wear them for trick or treating but take them off if they get hot at their Halloween party. You could also buy a solid color as well if nothing else matches.

And don’t forget to take a good look at the new BabyLegs website which was just launched. Check out the gallery for more ideas and add your photos!
