We got the chance to try out the green PlasmaCar ourselves to see what all the hype was about! Well, now I get it! This an extremely fun and different toy that encourages active play. It can support an adult up to 220lbs so my husband could even try it out, although the heavier the rider the more smooth the surface needs to be.My just turned 3 year old is far from a master at the steering wheel and mostly pedals with his feet but I’m sure by next summer he’ll be zooming through the neighborhood on it.
The only downfall is the need for flatter surfaces if they aren’t easily accessible to your family. It is nearly impossible to go up hills and uneven surfaces can leave you standing virtually still. I can only imagine the fun a child could have in a basement with a smooth floor like concrete, a long and smooth driveway or a gymnasium.
Stopping is super easy, simply stop rotating the steering wheel and put your feet down so you needn’t worry about getting out of control.You can even go in reverse by switching the four wheels around.
Overall we are very happy with the PlasmaCar. While the recommended age is 3 and up, some younger kids (my son included) my not use it exactly as it was intended at first but they can still find enjoyment with this toy and grow into it!
