See Kai Run ~ Let’s Hear it for the Boys! {Review & Giveaway #10}

In recent years the adorable shoes available for little boys has begun to rival what you can find for the little girls. Several shoe companies, including See Kai Run, have seen a need for stylish shoes for boys and have delivered! As moms of boys, no longer are we limited to athletic shoes and basic (a.k.a boring) dress shoes. We now have fun choices in which we can showcase the style our little guys have and show their personality with their shoes!

Not familiar with See Kai Run? (Is that possible?) Here is a little history from the creator of See Kai Run.

In 2002 I gave birth to a little boy named Kai. Two years later, inspired by the need for comfortable shoes with flexible soles for my little Kai to wear outdoors, I created See Kai Run. I wanted to design a line of shoes that was as happening as Kai – bold, hip, fun, with an urban sensibility. Something entirely different than what was offered.

Twice a year, I design a new collection of 15-20 designs. Our designs are sophisticated and classic with modern twists sprinkled throughout. And most importantly, our shoes are healthy for developing feet. The soles are made of extremely flexible rubber which is great for outdoor use while allowing the foot to flex in all the right places. They’re also made of butter soft leather with a breathable leather lining and padded collars for comfort. Finally, See Kai Run shoes are easy to get on and off with Velcro closures that ensure a great fit.

See Kai Run just recently introduced some fantastic new styles for this fall season, making it hard to pick a pair to review. All are sure to make your little man stand out like these gray and black with blue pearl shoes named Justin!

Eric is also adorable. Lucian has a pair of orange pants and a navy hoodie with an orange stripe that would look great with these!

But in the end, I chose these simple black Jannis boots for my 19 month old son Warren, which is also a new design. I have a pair of Dominic for Lucian and now my little boys will both have black boots this fall. The cool part is that they are similar but not matching. I love black boots on a little boy (or girl) and the quality on these is outstanding, not that it is any surprise. These will look great dressed up for Christmas pictures or dressed down with a pair of jeans.

Warren loves shoes and has had plenty of fun already putting these on and off and clomping around the house. One nice thing I can look forward to with the cooler weather is that Warren can actually wear these fantastic boots out!

If you are looking for something with a soft sole, never fear. Finley from the smaller collection is another stylish black boot with faux fur lining to make them extra soft and cozy!

Another favorite of mine from the smaller line are these cream and brown Jake shoes. Aren’t they precious?
