I’m taking a stand by using coupons and limiting my shopping trips. When gas was $4/gal, I began buying in bulk and keeping my pantry stocked. I am using more coupons and watching for items to be on sale. I often buy in larger quantities when things are on sale. Like when Target has luvs on sale, I might buy 5 or 6 packs of diapers (i have two in diapers right now) which will last me until the next time they are on sale at target again.

We only use airconditioning when absolutely necessary, my husband has begun biking to his job, and I coordinate all my coupons with the products when they are already on sale at the store. Have always lived conservatively. We drive a Pruis. I like to shop at Thrift Stores and gleam with the things I find. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.
During these tough times (and even when it’s not so tough), I shop sale items, use coupons, shop at discount retailers, second hand/garage sales, grow some of our own veggies, shop at the Rochester Public Market… I love to save money!

I am taking a stand by thinking more about what I’m buying instead of buying things impulsively. I also shop around for things on sale, order online and use online coupon codes. Also buy quality items that will last much longer instead of buying cheap imitations that may only last a short while, not a value in the long run.

During these times, we try to just stick with the basics(needs) and limit our wants. Luvs is the only diaper I buy…you get value and quality. With four children, every dollar counts! Thanks!

I take a stand by being prepared. I don’t wait until the last minute to buy things, so I can shop around, wait for sales, and find things at a good price. We’re having a baby in 7 months and I’m already hoping to win diapers!
I take a stand against high prices by shopping in bulk. We go to Costco and split the stuff with my in-laws. Since it’s just the two of us and the two of them, that way we get the benefit of buying in bulk without having things go bad because we have too much.

Our best way of saving money is we’ve stopped eating out at fast food. We used to grab fast food at least 4 nights a week and it was costing us hundreds of dollars. Plus it was not the healthiest way of eating. So now we’ve cut way back on eating out.

Our way of cutting down on expenses is to shop at thrift stores. We go to the store in the really high end part of Phoenix and there is always really nice stuff there. Designer labels, sometimes with the tags still on!
We go grocery shopping on Wednesdays where they have the senior discount. Yes, I know I’m applying to win diapers when we get the senior discount but that’s the joys of having grankids!
I save money by doing double coupons. I search all of these great sites that list coupon deals and I hunt them down like I’m on safari! I share all of my finds with my family members. That way we can all share in on the savings. With the economy the way it is everyone needs all the help we can get!
