Marissa Jaret Winokur, Tony-Award-winning actress, Dancing With the Stars contestant (I loved her on this didn’t you?) and host of Oxygen Network’s Dance Your Ass Off, has partnered with Luvs for the “Take a Stand” campaign. Marissa loves the idea of empowering moms to stand for things that are important to them and has created videos on Luvs.com where she talks about what she stands for including charitable giving and trusting your parenting instincts. You can share your own “Take a Stand” story in the Luvs online community! Luvs believes mothers should take a stand in what they believe in, including not overpaying for diapers!
Luvs Diapers deliver ultra leak protection and a money back guarantee for less than the pricey brands, and offer premium features such as Bear Hug Stretch™—premium stretch to help stop leaks—a blue leakguard core, and reinforced leg cuffs that help prevent bunching and sagging. Luvs Diapers are available in sizes newborn to 6 at mass, discount, and grocery stores where baby-care products are sold.
For fun you can create a baby avatar in your likeness with the Baby Builder feature at Luvs. They can be used for your Luvs.com profile, Facebook headshot, twitter profile or just to tag your emails to friends. Marissa’s baby avatar is the “celebrity” site host!

I take a stand by cutting out unnecessary costs. We eat in while we can and walk to places instead of drive to them.

We have found so many ways to take a stand in the tough times, the main one is bulk shopping, coupons and lots of generic brands.

I’m taking a stand on expensive diapers that leak!
By couponing and taking the time to do research on everything we buy!
I am following your blog!
I am taking a stand by clipping coupons and shopping sales. I am also donating items we aren’t using anymore!
I’m taking a stand by using cash for as many things as I can and trying to carefully track my spending.
I have cut back on all expenses and I have even trimmed our groceries so we only have meat twice per week. I make veggie meals the other days. It’s hard but you have to do what you can to survive.
I take a stand by not using my credit card. If we can’t afford it, we don’t buy it!
I sent you my luvs baby
I sent you my luvs baby for a second entry
I am buying store brands, using as many coupons as possible and looking for rebates when I shop at all.
I’m taking a stand by using coupons, shopping for food only once per week no matter how low on food we get (I can be very creative in my meal-making when I have to be), and we stopped eating out.

Well we already live frugally, but basically we just don’t buy things we can’t afford (ever) and use as many coupon and freebie offers as we can.
I resale items we no longer need.

During these tough economic times, I have been trying to stretch every penny. I clip & use coupons regularly, buy when there is buy one get one free, buy store brand products, and compare the prices at stores.

I take a stand against diapers that are cheap and are a waste of money! They leak and they fall off so easily.
Thanks.

Taking a stand by home canning some foods, planted my own vegetable/fruit garden (though it didn’t give us as much food as I would have liked this year), eating smaller portions (which also helps me to lose some extra pounds and helps with grocery budget), making sure I’m extra nice to hubby when he works some overtime to help earn money for family expenses, enter great giveaways like this one sponsored by LUVS to help win some of those things we’d normally be buying.
I subscribed to your newsletter via email. Good luck to all.
We are taking a stand by thinking if things are really necessary when we buy them and cutting things that are just wasteful.
