My son (who is emergency vehicle obsessed) got the chance to sit in the front seat of not only a fire truck but also a cop car while in Texas this past week. This three year old was in heaven! It certainly pays to have an uncle as a cop and two uncles on the volunteer fire department. Thanks to both the fire chief and sergeant who allowed him to do this and of course to Uncle David!

Aww, he looks sooo proud! We have a lot of large equipment around here, and little ones are just in awe at them. My husband will often take them to sit in them, and it’s just the highlight of their day.
