Macy’s has followed up with last season’s holiday effort benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® with their “Believe” campaign. This year’s effort has been inspired by the well known, “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” 1897 and includes letter writing “Believe Stations” in Macy’s stores. A Santa letter template is even available for download! For every letter that is received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1 million.
Macy’s BELIEVE campaign also has an honorary National Believe Day, a “Yes, Virginia” animated special, and a new TV commercial featuring Queen Latifah. You can also enter to win a trip for four to New York City for the Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2010 simply by telling Macy’s why you believe.
Adding the spirit of the Believe campaign and Christmas, Santa will hit the road with a 25 city bus tour. To see when he will be at your local Macy’s and more details, check out this tour map.
