Sage Green Bags~ It’s in the Bag! {Review & Giveaway #13}
Sage Green started in 2006 from the desire of world wide traveler, Teri Thomas to bring the environmentally conscious habits of the world to the United States. While eco friendly totes were no stranger to other parts of the world, they were little known here in the U.S. Her goal has always been to help educate people on the wonderful benefits of eco friendly living with reducing, recycling and reusing.
This company specializes in eco-friendly resuable totes for the wholesale market offering companies inexpensive eco-friendly advertising with customized canvas totes, non woven polypropylene shopping bags, totes made from recycled water bottles ( PET) and earth friendly jute totes.
I had the pleasure of seeing the great quality of Sage Green bags first hand with the two totes below. I love using reusable totes at the grocery story and for everyday and am still amazed that Americans didn’t have these bags so easily available a few years ago. Now I can’t imagine my life without them!
I really like the elegant look of the designer chocolate brown non woven polypropylene shopping bag shown on the right. I am happy to finally see a design on this type of tote. However, the canvas bag won me hands down. Am I the only one who hasn’t see a canvas tote with a square bottom? I love the size of this bag and just how much I can fit in it! So many items stack better, especially boxed goods in a bag with a square bottom and I like that I’m not limited to the non woven polypropylene bags to have this function.

I would use them for grocery shopping, as an extra toy/baby bag as I often need more than jst my diaper bag when going places for more than a quick trip with my 17 month old. I like the eco friendly reusable tote bag because it looks very sturdy!
I would use these bags all of the time. When I first got some reusable bags, I would only use them for the grocery store. Then I started using them for all of my shopping as well as transporting toys, books back to the library, etc… They hold up so much better than plastic bags and it is nice to know that I am helping the environment too!

I walk or take the bus to do groceries, so these would make it much easier to carry my stuff back!

One of the reasons I like it, is I can embellish it myself to make it look the way I want. I’d could do embroidery on it, or decorative fabric paint on it, or gem it up, or the possibilities are endless.
I could use the bags to give birthday or holiday gifts in.
I could use them to tote around my oh so many craft supplies, like my quilting pieces when I hand quilt crazy quilts, etc..
I could use them actually shopping. The target store in my town takes five cents off your total bill for every reusable shopping bag you use at the check out stands.
I could use them to carry the water and water bowls for the dogs when we take them on really long walks to the park.
I could use them when I go on nature walks to pick up items I can use for crafts, e.g. pine cones, flowers and leaves I want to press, rocks I’d like to polish up for jewelry pieces, etc…
Great to put toys in when taking the kids to grandma’s house for a visit.
Oh the possibilites are endless.
