Thomas & Friends: Holiday Express {Review & Giveaway}

Thomas&Friends (TM) Logo

I know I’ve mentioned it before but my three year old son, Lucian, loves trains and enjoys watching Thomas & Friends and playing  with his wooden Thomas train set. He loves making super long strings of many different trains and cars together and driving them down the track! So it came as no surprise when I received the newest Thomas DVD collection, Thomas & Friends: Holiday Express that Lucian would enjoy it.

We sat and watched the DVD  together and enjoyed both the cuddle time and the holiday themed stories. While the stories are great, keep in mind they may be ones you’ve seen before if you already have a lot of Thomas DVDs. This isn’t a brand new collection and the style is classic and not like the newest CGI version of the show like Thomas & Friends: Hero of the Rails. (Love that movie!) Lucian loved the bonus holiday Thomas train included which features a Santa hat and snowflakes. He cracked me up when he said, “Look, Thomas is Santa for Halloween!” I gave this to him a day or two after Halloween and apparently it was still on his brain. I love how his mind works! The only bummer about the train it is isn’t a wooden train and doesn’t connect with his wooden railway system. Doesn’t seem to bother him since he plays with trains in so many other ways but definitely worth mentioning.
