I will be visiting my family. It is a four hour drive but I wouldn’t miss it for the world. My father was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer so we’re trying to spend whatever time we have together. It’s going to be a hard holiday season for all of us.

This year we get to stay home, which I prefer because there’s no travel stress, and the memories you make at home during the holidays, to me, always seem a bit more special. We do always go travel to the nearest mountain (we have 2 to pick from, so we alternate) and we pack up our sleds, snow-boards and other snow toys and spend the day building snow men, snow angels, snowball fights, and taking a million and one photos. This time of the year is GREAT for families!
We are lucky enough to stay home!!! We’ll we will go to the in-laws but they are only 1 1/2 miles down the road. We travel for Thanksgiving so we can stay home at Christmas!

We will be home Christmas morning. We spend Christmas Eve with my in-laws, and Christmas day with my family. Both sides of the family live about 20 minutes away…so not to bad of a drive.

It has been 15 years since I was blessed to celebrate Christmas with my family. I would love to be home with them. It will just husband and my beautiful kids.

We’re just traveling a short distance to be with relatives.
This Thanksgiving we went stay in a cabin in the mountains.I love it.
our travel plans this holiday season are an 9-hour car ride from central California to Phoenix, AZ (with lots of DVD’s!) My parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister (plus spouses and children) all still live in Phx where we grew up… my parents have had the same house for almost 50 years!. It’s crazy when we all get together, but I haven’t missed one Christmas at home in Phx even though we have moved a few times (and neither have my 3 children). It’s a heck of a drive, but I can’t imagine not being with family… it’s worth it when we get there!

Luckily we’re staying home this year. Our family lives within 10 minutes of us. DH has to work Christmas day so we’re doing our Christmas with little guy on Christmas Eve morning & then E & I will go to visit everyone on Christmas day.

We are staying home and having everyone here this year.
We are lucky to have all our family in the area. We spend Christmas morning at home with the kids and then drive to Grandma’s to spend the afternoon/evening with the rest of the family.
We’ll be traveling to DisneyWorld over the holiday break…the kids are so excited!!

I’m lucky enough to stay home this season. I recently moved into a tenant apartment at my aunt and uncles house which is where we spend the holidays, so all I have to do this year is walk up the back stairs! still gotta carry the gifts up though.

I’m nine months pregnant and due in a few weeks, so we will not be going anywhere for the holidays. To my dismay. I’d love to get up to the biltmore mansion in asheville, nc to see their holiday decorations, it was so beautiful when we went a few years ago.
