I will be visiting my family. It is a four hour drive but I wouldn’t miss it for the world. My father was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer so we’re trying to spend whatever time we have together. It’s going to be a hard holiday season for all of us.

This year we get to stay home, which I prefer because there’s no travel stress, and the memories you make at home during the holidays, to me, always seem a bit more special. We do always go travel to the nearest mountain (we have 2 to pick from, so we alternate) and we pack up our sleds, snow-boards and other snow toys and spend the day building snow men, snow angels, snowball fights, and taking a million and one photos. This time of the year is GREAT for families!
We are lucky enough to stay home!!! We’ll we will go to the in-laws but they are only 1 1/2 miles down the road. We travel for Thanksgiving so we can stay home at Christmas!

We will be home Christmas morning. We spend Christmas Eve with my in-laws, and Christmas day with my family. Both sides of the family live about 20 minutes away…so not to bad of a drive.

It has been 15 years since I was blessed to celebrate Christmas with my family. I would love to be home with them. It will just husband and my beautiful kids.

Well I don’t know if I would say we were lucky to stay home. I guess we are lucky because my husband has a job and so he’ll be working over the holidays. I can honestly say I feel blessed.

We are lucky enough to be able to stay home for the Holidays! Being Pregnant I am happy the family is close! We will be going to my brothers house christmas eve for food and gifts with the family but he only lives 20 mins away!
