In March of 2009 I entered a contest on Everything in the Kitchen Up Close for First Juice, a blend of organic fruit and vegetable juices and purified water. It has 50% less sugar and calories than 100% fruit juice and is fortified with calcium and vitamins A, C, and D. Sounds great right?
Lucky me, I was a winner. Wrong.
Even though I won these from a contest that ended 9 months ago, I just got my coupons today. The kicker? The coupons expire on 12/31/09. A letter is included congratulating me and noting that they expire at the end of the year but no mention as to the delay. While they did include extra coupons it was not stated this was to make up for the late prize fulfillment.
Unfortunately I am unable to use these coupons. The closest retailer is 150 miles away and while if I had more time I would be going to that area, I have no plans in the near future to visit. Target is listed as a retailer but my local Target does not carry them.
Therefore, my loss is your gain. Want to win them?

I can get this juice at the local Toys r Us and Target I shop at all the time. They are both super close to my house.
I think it was pretty lame that it took them so long to get the coupons to you! I’m also a bit surprised that they just didn’t send you the juice. I realize the shipping is expensive, but it never ceases to amaze me that the companies don’t look to see who is winning their prizes and what could possibly be said about their products in the long run.

#1. Had I won this and not got it until now I would be worrying about their customer service. That is a REALLY long time. I hope their company can get it together. Maybe you should send them an email requesting additional coupons!

I used this locator a few days ago and 3 of the places it suggested did not carry their products. I know because i went to the 3..
I will be able to use the coupons as I have purchased that product previously at Toys R Us.
