Products that were once ghastly or boring have become stylish in a new trend that has emerged over the last few years. One of my favorite transformations has been with aprons. Aprons used to be matronly and certainly not flattering to the figure or *gasp* actually look good. Growing up with my mom, the fabulous cook and baker, aprons were always found in our kitchen but they certainly weren’t anything that would actually be fun to wear.

I chose the Original Sassy Black apron to satisfy my own craving for an apron that is fun but will go with everything in my wardrobe. I love the fun fabrics used and was surprise at the quality of the material. The apron ties are wide and allow you to wrap them around to the front to create a bow. This is my favorite feature as I have a couple of aprons which barely make it around so I’m stuck tying it behind me (which I hate) or having it tied rather tightly in front. I also love that pockets are included! The tie at the neck allows for you to have complete control over the fit. I thought that I might find that annoying but I ended up appreciating that control.

These are great! It’s hard to pick just one! I guess, to start, I’d like the women’s original blue chocolate. I love the throwback feel to it. But the teal one is a close second.
I’m always in the kitchen and I have a knack for getting flour all over me. One of these cute aprons would let me feel pretty even while I’m making a mess.
Maybe a hunter green and cream one would be pretty.
