Thomas & Friends: Splish Splash Splosh {Review & Giveaway}

The most recent Thomas & Friends adventure has just been released on DVD January 5th from Liongsate and Hit Entertainment. Thomas & Friends: Splish, Splash, Splosh! is entirely new and is a great addition to your Thomas collection.

Using the same CGI style as the movie Thomas & Friends: Hero of the Rails, Splish, Splash, Splosh! has both narration and characters that can talk.  My son was a huge fan of the movie and often asks to watch “talking Thomas”. While he likes the old style of Thomas & Friends as well, the CGI version is definitely his favorite. I personally prefer this version  as well as opposed to the narrator reading out of a book.  You’ll also see characters introduced in the movie, like Kevin and Victor, in Splish Splash Splosh. Two new characters including Charlie, a playful engine, and Driver Perkins are introduced. Driver Perkins helps out Sir Topham Hatt, Sodor’s engines and the train engineers and is a real live person. He engages children with dialogue in between episodes while showing them how to make a Thomas cake!

My three year old son loves this DVD and after watching it with him (multiple times) I have to say it is my favorite Thomas DVD next to Hero of the Rails. I like the lessons that are taught such as being considerate towards others and not letting others distract you from doing a good job while  my son simply adores all the trains. With getting multiple new pieces to his Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway set for Christmas, we found this DVD was a great addition!
