Macy’s vast charity work has become apparent to me in the multiple charity campaigns I’ve shared with you this past year. They include the“Believe” campaign benefiting Make a Wish and Come Together to end hunger with Feed America. I’m pleased to tell you about the newest Macy’s campaign to benefit the American Heart Association.
Macy’s GO RED FOR WOMEN campaign is celebrating National Wear Red Day on February 5th. With the INC International Concepts “Little Red Dress”, Macy’s is helping to support Go Red For Women, the American Heart Association’s nationwide movement to work together to wipe out heart disease, the #1 killer of American women and men. Since 2004, Macy’s customers and employees have contributed more than $21 million to the Go Red For Women movement.
Available exclusively at select Macy’s and online for only $69, this Little Red Dress would be a fun way to show your support of Go Red for Women and have the perfect dress for a romantic night on Valentine’s Day! Look for it while you shop the Wear Red Sale February 3-7th to receive 20% off at your local Macy’s just for wearing red or 10% off online with the code WEARRED.

Just the fact that people are taking women’s heart health seriously is the most interesting point of the Go Red for Women site…after decades of presuming women were less affected by heart problems.
I learned that the American Heart Association has developed a new online resource to help people improve their heart health, – My Life Check (www.heart.org/MyLifeCheck).
