Modern Bird Studios ~ Amazing Modern Art! {Review & Giveaway}

Every so often I come across something that I think is extra special. Something unique and different than anything else I’ve ever seen before. I got that excited feeling when I saw the work of Gregg at Modern Bird Studios. This newer company specializes in custom art pieces that go beyond the traditional. Gregg will take your photo and using a combination of graphic design and natural drawing and painting abilities to totally transform your photo to a stunning piece of art.

Narrowing down what picture to use was tough since shots taken in natural light work best for this process. I finally settled on these separate pictures of my boys since I struggled to find a good one of them together outside. Gregg’s wife Megan guided me as colors were selected (Buckeye Brown and Urban Beige) and sent me image proofs to approve before Gregg really worked his magic.  He transformed these two pictures into…

Each 12″ x 12″ piece is painted on a thick oak wood composite that unlike canvas will stay in nicer condition for a longer period of time with little to no chance of warping. They have a nice weight to them and feel very sturdy, even without a frame. Gregg has even signed the back so when he becomes super famous (is there really any doubt?) my art will be worth even more! The process was very smooth, much faster than I expected (only a few days) and I can’t say enough about the fabulous customer service I received.

I love how my boys stand out on our mantel and that this art will be treasured for many years to come. I couldn’t be happier with the results!
