Creativity for Kids Spring Craft Pack {Spring Event Review & Giveaway #2}

Creativity for Kids Logo

Spring arrived early this year in Minnesota and we couldn’t be more thrilled. After being shut inside for much of the bitterly cold winters of Minnesota I could sense the frustration of my kids. We’ve been trying to get outside as often as possible to enjoy what we’ve missed these last few months.  Whether from rain or strong winds, we’ve had plenty of days however when we are stuck inside and I am thankful to have some fun projects at my disposal to make those days just as entertaining.

Creativity for Kids has a vast selection of fun craft and art projects meant to foster your child’s creativity. Rainy days don’t have to be boring this spring if you have crafts on hand.

Creativity for Kids Finger Prints Finger Painting Set

We had the opportunity to try out the new Finger Prints Finger Painting Set. Trust me, this isn’t the finger paints from your childhood. Traditional finger painting has you painting directly on the paper. This set has a plastic sheet for the child to paint directly on and then the image is transferred with a sponge roller onto paper. Sound cool? It is!

Creativity for Kids Finger Prints 1Both my boys, ages three and two had a blast with this set.  With help from daddy both of them were able to take part even though the set is only meant for one child and has a recommended age of 3 and up. We set up the plastic insert as a second painting tray and it worked wonders! We didn’t try the handy paint cup holders only because we didn’t trust our kids to not cross contaminate the colors. They would be great for an older child to keep all paints safe from spilling and in close range.

Creativity for Kids Finger Prints 2My kids were able to create some great masterpieces with very little mess. The roller did a great job of transferring the paint and it was extra fun to see what the results would be when you lifted the paper. The paint easily washed off and I appreciated the squeegee and clean up sponge included in the set along with the child size apron. Despite my worries this might be a super messy project, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Creativity for Kids Finger Prints 3My two year old has repeatedly come up to me, “I wanna try paint mommy. Open it now! Pease….” since we tried it a couple of weeks ago. No doubt this has been a hands down favorite for art and craft projects.

Creativity for Kids has a wide selection of products to bring out your child’s creative side and here are just a few of them that would be perfect for spring.
