iPlay Poppin Shapes Aquarium {Spring Event Review & Giveaway #14}

iplay logoiPlay is just one of the many brands of International Playthings, a leader in award winning toys for children. When browsing International Playthings I almost immediately discovered some very familiar toys. The Chubbies Bucket Set below is a favorite of my son Lucian’s at his ECFE (Early Childhoold Family Education) class. We have checked those out of the toys room more than once.  I also found these TOMY Push ‘n GO vehicles which were purchased my husband’s grandparents and now that I know where to get them you can bet I’ll remember these for gifts.

International Playthings Chubbies & Push N Go

Since its inception in 1967, International Playthings, LLC has excelled in the delivery of innovative and entertaining products with integrity, superior play value and child developmental qualities to consumers. Over the course of its 40-year existence, IP LLC has grown to become one of the largest and most respected suppliers of quality products to the North American specialty industry.

We got a chance to try out the Poppin Shapes Aquarium. This aquarium shape sorter has four sea themed shapes including two fish, a crab and a turtle. With fins, claws or shells that pop in and out, you can also sort these pals within the easy to carry aquarium.

International Playthings Aquarium TrioMy 26 month old Warren love shapes sorters so I knew he’d enjoy the Poppin Shapes Aquarium. He really liked the pop out feature on each of the adorable sea shapes and that even grabbed the attention of my 3 1/2 year old. Warren had fun putting them in and out and liked to carry the entire aquarium around the house.

I Play Poppin Aquarium 2He did however have some difficulty with the front of the aquarium. Sometimes he found it tough to open and close and needed my help. I feel the shapes have a slightly higher quality than the actual aquarium itself but even so, it is a toy my son certainly enjoys.

This toy is recommended for ages two and up, although honestly, I’m not exactly sure why. With its chunky pieces, a younger child would enjoy this as even the picture with the baby above suggests.

Buy it: The Poppin Shapes Aquarium retails for $19.99 and can be purchased directly at International Playthings.
