Play-Doh is a brand that is synonymous with fun. Nothing breaks up a rainy or windy spring day like some Play-Doh and with wide variety of colors and sets you are sure to never get bored!

My two boys had a blast playing with this set. It kept them entertained for much longer than I had anticipated and well over an hour. I loved the fact that they were forced to share and thought they might fight a lot but surprisingly they didn’t! They worked great together and with just a little coaching from me, they took turns! That was super exciting for me!
They loved creating popcorn and french fries even more the molds. Warren and Lucian mostly played with the levers over and over and over again. Which not only is fun for them, but it helps building their hand strength which is critical to help them learn to write down the road.
While my two year old could work the levers and presses, both my boys have issues with cross contamination amongst the colors. That along with the potential for a child to maybe eat the Play-Doh would be the only reason I can think of for the three and up recommendation. My two year old did great with this set and because he is past putting everything in his mouth, we didn’t have any issues with him.
I would definitely recommend buying more Play-Doh for this set. While there is enough compound to play, the larger items such as the popcorn and french fries use up all of the Play-Doh included and doesn’t leave extra for the other items. However, Play-Doh is fairly inexpensive and I know I will purchase more after my boys enjoyed it so much.
