How absolutely fantastic are these two looks? I definitely had them in mind when I went shopping recently at my local T.J. Maxx. (And if you really want to make people stare at you, use your flash on your camera like I did. I certainly limited the amount of my pictures as I tried to keep the strange looks at a minimum!)

I typically hit the same sections every single time I enter a T.J. Maxx. I like to take a quick peek at all the gorgeous handbags in so many styles and colors they make me salivate as I scan the aisle. Then I hit the home section because nothing excites me more than a new steal for my house whether it be a set of hand towels or a fun kitchen gadget. And of course I can’t forget the kids section. I always have to browse all the clothing and toys steals and so do my kids. We’ve been walking out with more toys than anything else lately so that might have something to do with it!

I was thrilled to have an excuse to shop the women’s fashion. I always somehow forget to shop for clothing for myself. This is usually because my kids are in tow and trying anything on is virtually impossible.

I actually like both of the featured looks above a lot but I found I couldn’t resist leaning towards the romantic feminine look. Here are my fun spring finds. My favorite is the turquoise top in the middle. It is hard to tell in the photo but the upper back and straps are actually crocheted which create a very feminine look. The hooded ivory piece I have it paired with works perfect for those cooler spring days.

And a perfect romantic detail in the first top are these pretty flowers adorning the neckline. This top is so versatile as it works great with a pair of jeans for a night out or dressed up with a skirt for a more formal event. Don’t you just want one too?

I had such a fun time trying on different finds at T.J. Maxx that while I walked in with only a $25 gift card, I ended up spending $78 for everything. That was even after I put two tops back and only purchased five. Yes, that is right, I got five pieces for an average price of less than $16!

I’ve worn all the tops more than once and in each of these photos I had already washed the pieces at least once. None of them required ironing (bonus!) and still look as good as when I made my purchase. You can bet now the women’s fashion will be one of my first stops as soon I enter the store!
