Canvas Press Photo to Canvas {Spring Event Review & Giveaway #43}

I know I’ve said it before but I love creating special pieces that capture my family’s memories and preserve them forever.  One wonderful company that helped me do just that recently. Canvas Press allowed me to create customized artwork  to decorate our home that goes beyond what you will get from a store bought painting.

Canvas Press is a smaller company that specializes in creating gorgeous works of art from your photos. Simply choose a photo (a feat easier said than done perhaps) and you can a create gallery wrapped canvas in virtually any size you can imagine in a thickness ranging from standard 3/4″ to 3″.

Picking a photo to use for our canvas was tough. We wanted something for our semi-new playroom which didn’t have a single thing on the walls. After much discussion with my husband,  we decided it would be fun to have an animal for the room but something a shot we took ourselves on one of our zoo adventures. We finally picked out this polar bear from our local zoo. It might seem like just any polar bear to you but for us it reminds us of a fun filled day with our boys. With the neutral colors it will look fabulous in any room and really stands out against our orange walls. Didn’t it turn out fabulous?

When choosing your canvas options you can pick an image wrap border as we did or you can choose a border color or even a mirror image! I love the thickness of our 1 -1/2″ canvas. It is the perfect weight and very high quality.

One impressive thing to note about service, I placed the order in the morning and by that afternoon it had already shipped. How fast is that? I expected it to take a least a couple of days.

You can also step totally out of the box and get a Canvas Wall Collage. They are available from two panels up to four or go for a grid of 4, 6 or 9. Amazing, isn’t it? Imagine the possibilities.
