Flojos (pronounced Flo-hos) began in 1979 with their original style, featuring a rubber criss-cross sandal and has grown to include women’s fashion and casual sandals along with a selection of mens and kids sandals.

The Flojos Original are a unisex sandal available in three colors as shown below. How comfortable do these look? I love the strap in back and the open toe design with absolutely nothing going in between the toes! And at only $18 they are extremely affordable as well!

One of the unique features of Flojos sandals includes many styles featuring a wedge in order to give you some height. I was immediately drawn to the Olivia sandal featuring a 2 1/2 in wedge with a cupped sock, meant to cradle the foot. I’ve never owned a flip flop that wasn’t flat and couldn’t wait to try these out!
When I first tried my Olivia sandals on I was a bit disappointed and skeptical. I wasn’t sure how comfortable they would really be and the height of the wedge threw me a bit. While I’m used to wearing a slight heel, I thought the sandals moved around a bit more than I liked and was unsure how comfortable they would be.
Oh, how silly of me! Now that I’ve had a chance to wear them more often I really love my new sandals! I like having the laid back summer look and yet the versatility to wear them with a skirt to dinner. Finally, some added height without having to wear dress shoes. The wedge is super soft and my feet are thanking me for it!
