Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Bathroom Scrubber {Spring Event Review & Giveaway #33}

Mr Clean Logo

Spring is a time for rebirth, a time for us Minnesotans to be excited the upcoming warmer months. It is also a fabulous time to get some major cleaning done. Of course that isn’t nearly as fun as planting a  garden or pulling out that outdoor furniture to enjoy the warmer weather. Yet having a freshly scrubbed and newly cleaned space really is refreshing, especially in the bathroom!

Mr. Clean impressed me with the creation of the Magic Eraser. I remember when it debuted several years ago and my husband and I joked it was made of alien materials because it just worked that good with really no obvious explanation. How could this strange white, foam like square clean like nothing else? I learned to simply appreciate the Magic Eraser and stop questioning its amazing cleaning power.

Back at it again, Mr. Clean has created the Magic Eraser Bath Scrubber, perfect for getting rid of that pesky soap scum!

The build-up of tough soap scum on your sink, shower and tub can quickly transform your bathroom from shiny and clean to dingy and grimy. Getting your various surfaces sparkling again, however, doesn’t mean hours of backbreaking work when you use the grime dissolving power of Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser® Bath Scrubber that cleans 3X more soap scum per swipe*. With an Eraser pad that’s 30% larger and more durable than the Magic Eraser Original combined with a built-in soap scum dissolving cleanser, the powerful micro-scrubbers in the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Bath Scrubber make tackling bathroom build-up as easy as ever.

Of course I have a bathroom perfect to test this new product out. I let it get nice and dingy and full of soap scum just for the purpose of this review (right….)

Before

Mr Clean BeforeI’m not sure how well you can see in pictures but of course, yuck and eww are in order.

Cleaning with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

Mr Clean DuringThe process of cleaning with the Magic Eraser Bath Scrubber was super simple! With just some water I was easily able to remove a lot of built up grim and soap scum fairly effortlessly. My favorite part was not having to go over the space again with a damp sponge or rinse off my shower to remove the excess cleaner.

After

Mr Clean AfterIt became sparkling new in just a few minutes and yes, I was impressed again by Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser. The only downfall I can see is that my bathroom would get a maximum of two cleanings per Magic Eraser. Even with the increased size I wore it down more than half in this first cleaning. But I definitely think the deep cleaning that I can get with this product is worth the added expense. I just might alternate my cleanings with another product such as the Mr. Clean Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaners with Febreze. For the kitchen I love the citrus scent of the Mr. Clean with Frebreze Freshness Antibacterial Multi-Surface Spray! Both leave your house smelling absolutely fantastic and come in great spring scents!
