I’ve been using Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad mixes for years! I appreciate that I can quickly and easily make a fabulous side dish for any summer cookout in about 15 minutes. One box creates just the ride amount of pasta for our family of four so we aren’t wasting but you can easily make up more than one kind or two boxes for a larger crowd. With the pasta and seasonings included all that is necessary is some oil and water or mayo, depending on the variety. With seven different flavors, including new Greek, you’re sure to find a family pleasing favorite that no one will ever guess came from a box! (Our personal favorite is Ranch & Bacon. Yummy!)
I had the chance to sample the Limited Edition Greek variety of Suddenly Salad and I’m really glad that I did. I was afraid that the flavors would be too strong but I was so wrong. It is nice and light and the seasonings are not overwhelming at all. One of my favorite aspects to Suddenly Salad is that I have free reign to add in any mix-ins that my family will enjoy. For our Father’s Day picnic in the park I added some fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and sprinkled some Parmesan cheese over the top. It was so delicious. I just hope that the Greek variety become permanent because I’ll definitely be buying this one again.
