Picking out a swimsuit has never been my idea of a good time. Even friends who I think should enjoy shopping for them don’t because virtually every woman has at least one insecurity. One thing about their body that they would like to hide, no matter what their body type. And when I say any, I really mean just about ANY.While shopping I even had a pop up window that asked me if I would like help picking out a swimsuit by chatting live with a swim fit expert. How cool is that?
I have had such a hard time finding a suit that fits me. Being bigger chested I have been subjected to some pretty horrendous results while suit shopping. One piece suits are pretty much out of the question as I need a much bigger size on top for coverage than on the bottom, resulting in “saggy butt”. No matter the suit type I get horribly unflattering single uni-boob, with little support. Even worse is a built-in shelf bra which cuts across midway on my breast. No matter how I try, finding support in the chest is pretty much impossible.
Lands’ End has completely changed my perception of picking out a swim suit. I’m sharing a couple of shots of my new Lands’ End swimming suit. Please be kind as I know I’m so far from a swimsuit model. In fact, like most women I’m fairly insecure about my body, especially in a bathing suit. But trying to judge how a swimsuit will look or fit by gazing at models is difficult and almost annoying. I wanted you to get a feel for the support I have in the chest. While it may have more cleavage that I would typically wear in a top, I’m fully supported and I actually have two breasts instead of one! That my friends is sweet. I’m also thrilled that I was able to order a suit by size alone without needing to try a million on to find one that would fit my body.
