I love shopping for myself online. While I don’t a chance to try stuff on before I buy, I rarely get that opportunity when I’m in the store either. Usually I’ve got two young kids in tow and the changes of me getting to visit the dressing room before I purchase is slim. Shopping online is a lot more fun when I can do it when the kids are asleep, I’m in my pajamas and I can really think about my purchases instead of finally just grabbing something I hope will work in the store. Chadwicks is one online women’s retailer that I can have fun shopping at my own convenience.
I had the opportunity to try out this Pointelle TwinSet that retails for $39.99 in the sweet berry color. I was immediately drawn to the great colors it is available in and the feminine layered look.
This twinset is just a single sweater and not two separate pieces which is great if you live in a warmer climate but still want that layered look. It is very flattering in the front because of it’s ability to hide stomach flaws but be warned that the back is a more form fitting sweater. Because I was in between sizes, I made the mistake of purchasing the smaller size. It still fits and looks decent but if I were to do it over again I’d go with the larger size because I’m not a big fan of sweaters that cling. Also note that if you are a taller person it may be too short for you in the sleeves as it just fits me and I’m 5’8″. Overall though, I’m very happy with my selection. The color is actually a lot more vibrant than this pictures suggests and the material soft. It is great paired with dress pants or with jeans so I appreciate the versatility.
