Libman Freedom Mop – Mopping Can Be Liberating {Review & Giveaway}

I’ve been a long time user of all-in-one mopping systems that allow me to quickly and easily mop my floor and ditch the traditional mop and bucket. However with this convenience comes a price. With expensive disposable pads and cleaning solution bottles it does take a toll on both the budget and the environment. I cringe every time I throw away one of the cleaning solution bottles, wondering why in the world I can’t refill it instead of throwing it away. Libman, well known for their brooms and mops, has created the solution to this problem with their new Freedom Mop.

Detachable, 18 oz. cleaning solution bottle allows you to use and refill any solution you choose. Machine washable, scratch-free, deep cleaning pad provides a greener clean while saving you money. Self-powered solution sprayer with comfort fit trigger eliminates the need for batteries while letting you control how much solution you spray onto your floor.

It is very easy to refill their cleaning solution bottle with your favorite cleaning product.You have complete control over what works best for you and the scent you love most.
The solution bottle attaches easily to the mop. To dispense, simple press the trigger on the mop handle. I thought it may be difficult to spray without batteries but the force required is equal to any cleaning product with a trigger spray.  If you have difficulties with any trigger spray from lack of hand strength, this mop might not be for you.

I was surprised how easy it was to spray and to control the amount of solution that was released. It was super quick and easy to clean my bathroom floor.

Overall Thoughts

I really couldn’t be more pleased with this mop. The only downside of not having disposable pads is now I must remember to wash them before I need them. However, having just one extra replacement pad eliminates a lot of the inconvenience and each pad can be washed up to 50 times before it needs to be replaced.  It is hard to complain when I know it is cheaper and so much better for the environment.

I’m so excited to now be free of batteries and have the freedom to refill the solution bottle with whatever my cleaning heart desires at significant cost savings! How liberating!
