The countdown to the Oscars is well underway and Turner Classic Movies is currently celebrating by commemorating the Academy Awards legacy with 31 Days of Oscars. The annual event began on February 1st with Eskimo (1963) and Citizen Kane (’41) and will conclude with Jane Fonda’s California Suite on March 3rd. These films are sure to get you fired up for the Oscars on Sunday, Feb27th, 2011.
My very favorites playing include Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Pretty Woman, Thelma and Louise and American Beauty. The list of movies is long and there is sure to be something for everyone!
