Certain brands become integrated into our lives so much so we forget that the product is actually a brand name. Such is the case with Coke, which has become synonymous with soda. Growing up I didn’t drink a lot of coke, or pop for that matter. But when I met my husband his family always had Coke, especially with pizza. Now every time I have pizza I think of Coke automatically. Isn’t it strange how your mind connects certain things together? Our absolute favorite soda choice over the last few years has been Cherry Coke Zero which we always try to have on hand.

Recognizing the brand has become a special part of people’s lives, Coca-Cola has launched Cooking with Coke – a site dedicated to Coke-loving moms and families. The new site provides a place to share recipes, family stories and mealtime traditions. Visitors to the site can build a personalized recipe book and share tips on how to get the whole family together.

I love sharing recipes with other people and what a fun way to mix and mingle! I especially enjoy hearing the stories behind the recipes as food is so much more than simply satisfying our appetite. Most of my fondest memories involve food in some way either through a celebration, holiday or just every day life. Good food shared among family and friends is my idea of the perfect meal!
One of the meals on Cooking with Coke that I’m really looking forward to try is Ingrid Hoffmann’s Fastest Ever Chicken Enchiladas. By using rotisserie chicken to save time and a few simple ingredients, you can make a dish that is quick, easy and looks amazing!
