Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Line {Spring Event Giveaway #30} CLOSED

As soon as my boys were born I suddenly became good friends with Melissa & Doug. And by that I don’t mean that sweet gal Melissa and that cool guy Doug. I mean the brand name, Melissa & Doug. Any parent becomes familiar with them as soon as they start purchasing toys for their children. They are not hard to find as they are available virtually everywhere toys are sold from big box retailers to specialty retailers to online shops.

But what I’ve been having fun with lately is the Sunny Patch brand of Melissa & Doug. These outdoor lifestyle products have been a big hit at our house. Perhaps you’ve noticed them popping up in posts from last month like my Target #spritz blogger challenge . Now that the weather is warmer we’ve been able to take these fun toys outside where they belong! And the big hit of the sandbox is the Seaside Sand Cupcake Set.

Both of my boys have been enjoying this set as something unique and different to use in the sandbox. Warren has taken to it especially which makes sense since he really loves to help me in the kitchen! I love they they come with a mesh bag which makes storage easy and the set more portable.

The set comes with four different cupcake holders and tops which when filled can make sea themed shapes including fish, starfish, crab and turtle. Also included is a cupcake molder which allows you to have a stand alone cupcake, a icing tool to give more details or make other shapes and the tray in which to hold or bake the cupcakes.

Because Warren was in the baking mood he moved onto using his Clicker Crab Pail and Shovel ($9.99)to use as a mixing bowl and spoon!

The Happy Giddy Cart worked great for hauling items around the yard. Which is very helpful given the size of our yard. The only issue is that the cart has two wheels instead of four so I have to keep reminding Warren that he needs to lift the one end up as he pulls.

I just love the bright and cheery colors of this line. The faces are warm and frankly make me feel good which I’m sure translates to my boys as well. All are affordable and would a great addition to your spring and summer toy arsenal. How would you like to win some products of your own?
