Green it Yourself with Carter Oosterhouse and Clorox Green Works

Clorox® Green Works® is introducing new naturally derived products that will make it easier to eliminate spills and stains on your clothing! And to help everyone green it themselves, Carter Oosterhouse has partnered with Clorox to share tips and projects through the Clorox Green Works® Facebook page!

First you can view the tips for your kitchen, kids room, family room and bathroom via video and then put those tips into action with shopping lists and more!

Since we are planning to replace our countertops this summer I was immediately drawn to the kitchen section and sure enough, there was a video about countertops!

Favorite Tip:

Purchase recycled countertops made with post consumer materials that are non porous and certified to release less chemicals into the air.

I didn’t even realize these types of countertops existed but I’ll be certain to look for them when we go shopping for our new countertops!
