Simple Indulgent Coffee Drinks {Recipes}

I love coffee. And I love coffee even more when it is a deluxe drink but I’m not a big fan of the cost are you? So sit back, relax and check out some simple coffee drinks you can make at home for a fraction of the cost!

You might not traditionally think of coffee liquor when making coffee but trust me, this one tastes so yummy and doesn’t have a real strong alcohol taste. It is just enough to make you feel nice and warm on those cooler summer nights!

For this Spanish Coffee recipe which calls for hot brewed coffee, I turned to the Caribou Coffee Caribou Blend K-cup which worked perfect for me to have a single coffee drink quickly.

Spanish Coffee

6 oz (3/4 cup) hot brewed coffee

1 oz coffee liqueur

1 teaspoon sugar

Whipped cream and mini chocolate chips for garnish (if desired)

Directions

Add liqueur and sugar to coffee mug before adding coffee. Stir then top with whipped cream and chocolate chips. Serve immediately.

I loved how the whipped cream started to melt into the coffee causing it to become sweeter as it sat!

For the next recipe I decided to use a flavored coffee but regular coffee would work as well. I chose Gloria Jeans Swiss Chocolate Almond although I’m certain that the Mudslide would have also tasted fabulous. Gloria Jeans is by far my favorite flavored coffee brand! You can get these two flavors along with French Vanilla Supreme and Butter Toffee in a Gloria Jeans Flavored Variety Pack.

Chocolate Iced Cream Coffee Drink

3/4 cup cold brewed coffee

2 oz cold milk

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon chocolate syrup

2 scoops coffee ice cream

Directions

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend several seconds until mixed. Serve immediately and top with whipped cream and additional chocolate syrup if desired.

This drink turned out extra refreshing and smooth with the coffee ice cream. You can also substitute chocolate, caramel or vanilla ice cream! If you are in a hurry simply turn this into a float and pour the ingredients over the coffee ice cream. Good luck drinking just one!

For an instant iced chai, try the Celestial Seasonings India Spice Chai K-cup. In case you weren’ t aware, a Keurig brewer also makes tea and hot chocolate!

Refreshing Iced Chai

6 oz chai tea

1 teaspoon honey

1/2 cup milk

Directions

Brew chai tea k-cup on strong cup setting. Dissolve honey into hot tea and stir. Chill. Add 1/2 cup milk and pour over ice. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
