Carter’s Fun Back to School Fashions {Review & Giveaway} CLOSED

It seems that every year the back to school shopping season sneaks up on us. At least for me anyway. But my just turned five year old son Lucian is pretty much set for the season, especially after receiving some adorable clothing combinations and pajamas from Carter’s (courtesy of Grandma as part of his birthday gift). With so many mix and match options it is easy to get by with less and create a different look each time.

To make it even easier to shop, Carter’s has their Shop the Look Department which takes the guess work out of creating cute looks. Simply click on the look you love and you are immediately shown all the pieces necessary to complete the look you desire.

We received the Layered Look Athletic Tee ($22) in orange which of course was a huge hit with my orange obsessed son. This shirt has a nice weight to it and will be a fabulous addition to his fall wardrobe! It fits on the bigger side but that is definitely a welcome change from sleeves that are too short!

Also included was a navy Puffer Style Vest ($28) which is perfect for our very cool autumn weather here in Minnesota. The quality and feel of this vest is top notch, which I’m sure is why it received a 5 star review from a customer on their website. It isn’t too bulky and may even fit him next year if his little brother doesn’t snatch it away. (After this photo shoot Warren immediately claimed the vest as his own and wore it the rest of the day.)

Lucian loves the Camo Twill Cargo Pants ($26) which are surprisingly light and very comfortable. I appreciate the elastic waist but I think my son loves how “cool” they look. Something that certainly stands out from his usual jeans or athletic pants. Although the weather was too warm to enjoy the other two pieces, he insisted on continuing to wear these after I took photos and I know they will be a staple in his wardrobe.
