It was only a few months ago this summer when I was talking about my need to eliminate my own baby fever by buying baby gifts from such stores as Elegant Baby and here I am, 18 weeks pregnant and excited about all the wonderful things available to me for purchase. How things can change so quickly! I am thrilled to be working with Elegant Baby again and want to show you the cute items they sent my way!
I received this adorable Princess Pig Bank in pink with green polka dots ($32). Isn’t she fun? We already own the blue and white polka dot pig which was a gift when my first son was born so I thought it would be fabulous to have this one if I have a girl. If not, this bank would look perfect in my 2 year old nieces bedroom!
I wanted a bank because my boys absolutely love to receive money and add to their savings. They have never spent anything in their piggy banks, they simply enjoy shaking it and hearing the sounds and feeling the change in weight as they save more. I think a piggy bank is a fabulous keepsake gift that also serves a purpose and the modern options available at Elegant Baby add to the decor rather than detract.
Next up is the 6 pack Her Highness Socks ($32) which come in a toddler size 1 to 2 years. I like the larger size on these socks because they can be worn for a whole year versus just a few months. So often with baby gifts you only receive items for the first few months. These would be a much appreciated gift that extends beyond that. They would also make a thoughtful first birthday gift.
These socks come in a nicely weighted fabric and feature some cute designs with pink, yellow, green and black. This makes sense since it is a a princess line, however I would love to see some purple included with the set!
Elegant Baby also has some fun socks sets for boys! Typically boys socks follow similar themes and color patterns but these are a welcome break from the norm!

I found a few stray strings (as you can see in the stitching on the image above) but the integrity of the towel is still very much intact. This 100% cotton terry towel is generously sized at 27″ x 50″ and is a medium weight fabric. I love the bright colors!

I would definitely buy the Christening blanket. We are Catholic and can never find beautiful Christening blankets. I also love love love the socks.
