I’m a definitely a believer in the wonderful benefits of swaddling! Even my boys are very familiar with the idea and refer to a swaddled baby as a baby burrito. I swaddled both my boys for an extended period of time and I know it helped them to sleep more restful through the night. The hardest part about swaddling can be simply finding a receiving blanket that is large enough to do the job. That is not a problem with Swaddle Designs!
The Ultimate Receiving Blanket from Swaddle Designs is the biggest receiving blanket at 42″x42″ I’ve found on the market and was my very favorite with my second son Warren. Besides fabulous for swaddling, it works great as a blanket, perfect for travel.

The marquisette swaddling blanket is considerably thinner than its cotton flannel counterpart but helps you achieve the Goldilocks Guide: Baby should not be too hot or too cold but just right. Both are soft, especially the flannel, and come in a wide array of colors and prints.
I was really curious to get a closer look at the burp cloth sets ($18) from Swaddle Designs. They come in a package of two designs, perfect for matching your blanket sets.

What I couldn’t tell from the online pictures were just how big these burp cloths are. Unfolded they reach 14″ x18″ and more than cover your shoulder. In fact they are probably the largest actual burp cloth I’ve ever seen. Typically burp cloths are small and you wonder how anyone can really consider themselves protected with them on. Definitely not the case with these!
These also don’t feel like your traditional burp cloths. They are double layer cotton with an extra absorbent center layer to maximize your protection. Now after seeing them in person I just want more!
