With Christmas vacation from schools, a great way to spend some time with family is a trip to the movie theater. Besides that, I’m always on the look out for movies we can all see as a family. We often get in to the mood to see a movie, especially during the long winter months but unfortunately it happens often that there isn’t a movie out there for us to see. If you are searching for the same, one option that is currently in theaters is Alvin and The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.

Film Synopsis:

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked marks the 2011 return of everyone’s favorite Chipmunks - Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Playing around while aboard a cruise ship, the Chipmunks and Chipettes accidentally go overboard and end up marooned in a tropical paradise. They discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems. The film wasreleased in theaters nationwide on December 16, 2011.

And to go along with the movie is a fun soundtrack that is sure to have your kids grooving to the music. I think it is awesome that the movie features current songs that we all know and love but of course done “chipmunks” style.
