Sassy and Fun 2 Chix Maternity Tees {Review & Giveaway}

I think all of you know by now that I’m pregnant. Very pregnant. And let me tell you, I feel it now that I’m turning 32 weeks tomorrow. I just want something to wear that is comfortable and looks cute so thank you 2 Chix.

2 Chix offers simple but chic maternity tees with several fun sayings to celebrate this special time. From a tongue in cheek approach like Pregzilla or the sweet including Tinkled Pink, you are sure to find something that sums up your pregnancy or just makes you smile.

I received the Let the Love Grow tee in the voluptuous sizing last month. When my shock wore off when I took it out of the package, I was surprised. It looked absolutely tiny and I was certain it wouldn’t fit but the super soft fabric has a nice stretch. I love how long the tee is and it covers my bump perfectly. (Here I am at 28 weeks.)

My only complaint is that these tees follow a one size fits most approach. The regular sizing is for a pre-pregnancy size of 2 to 12 while the voluptuous sizing is 12 to 18. In my mind, even with the stretch, these numbers are overstated, especially during pregnancy. Just because you are one size before you are pregnant, doesn’t mean you won’t gain a bit of weight in other areas besides the bump and I don’t think the cut in the chest and arm area really accounts for that. Yes, I’m bigger busted but I have never been a size 18 on top and I don’t think anyone who is would be able to wear this or it wouldn’t necessarily be flattering.

That being said, if you are a woman who loves a form fitting tee that is sure to show off your new bump then these tees are perfect for you! And if you are in between a regular or voluptuous sizing, go up higher so you have a bit more room. The quality on these tees are awesome and they wash up great so I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
