Getting Ready for Baby with Carter’s Little Whale Collection {Giveaway} CLOSED

It amazes me that next month I’m due with my third child. How did that happen? It feels it many ways like I just found out I was pregnant and yet I’m really ready to meet my new baby! I’ve noticed lately that my “nesting” phase has kicked in and I’ve been enjoying going through clothing and getting everything in order. I came across some drawer organizers that I had picked up this past summer and subsequently forgot to use. This white one works perfectly for the top drawer of our changing table to keep small items like socks, bibs and washclothes organized. Now I just wish I had a couple more!

I’ve also been going through all the newborn and 0-3 month clothing. Carter’s was kind enough to send me a newborn three piece cardigan set from their Little Whale Collection to add to my stash. Isn’t it a beautiful line? I love all the gorgeous blues that go beyond the typical “baby blue”. If you are expecting a girl, their Yellow Daisy Collection is adorable as well!

This 3 piece cardigan set came with a bodysuit featuring a whales and the line, “mommy’s little guy” along with a button down cardigan and a pair of knit pants. While it retails for $20 it can be found at carters.com for a very affordable $12.

I couldn’t resist holding the outfit up to my ever growing belly and can’t imagine that anything so small will fit my little one. It seems just so tiny, especially the pants! I can’t wait to dress my baby in this adorable assemble. It is just so soft. Sigh…

Keep in mind however that the Carter’s newborn size only goes up to 8lbs. Both of my other children were born under this weight but if the babies in your family tend to be over that or you simply want to be able to enjoy the outfit longer, be sure to order a size up.
