Adorable Dolly and Me Clothing from Summers Closet {Review & Giveaway} CLOSED

Over the past few months my daughter has received a couple of American Girl catalogs in the mail.  She fell instantly in love with the idea of dressing like her doll.  I was so excited to see that Summers Closet offered a line of Dolly and Me clothes to let your little one match her favorite doll.  The hardest part was choosing which one Danica would like the best.We chose the adorable Dolly and Me Bright Blue Dress ($59.99) since blue is Danica’s favorite color.  I love this dress.  It is so adorable.  The pictures on the Summers Closet site really don’t do it justice as the dress is even cuter in person.

My favorite part of the dress is the long ribbon in the back of the dress.  I love this detail and so does my daughter.  I think this will make a beautiful Easter dress.

I chose a size 6 dress as Danica is currently between a 5 and 6 for most of her clothes.  This dress was VERY generously sized so if ordering again I will err on the small side.  The dolls dresses are aimed towards fitting most standard 18 inch dolls and bears, but I also found that it fit one of her much smaller dolls too.

All of Summers Closet items are hand made in the USA and are made to order.  The quality in the dress I received is amazing and I believe this item will hold up extremely well to my very active 5 year old.

Danica loves her new dress and loves matching her doll.  I absolutely recommend Summers Closet.  We did have one issue that the ribbon strap on the dolls dress did come off and I will have to restitch it.  Other than that the product is wonderful.  The only downside with the Summer Closet website is that the pictures are smaller when you browse all the products and they don’t do the products justice as the the clothes are far better in person than they look in the pictures!

While I did not order one at this time, they also offer matching dresses for Mom’s too, so that you can match your daughter and her doll.  The Mommy and Me line is an adorable option for Mom’s and daughters.  How cute would it be to have matching Aprons for you and your daughter as you spend time cooking together?  I love the matching Mom, Daughter and Doll Blue Apron set ($44.99) which offers free personalization.
