Spaghetti Dinner with Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition {Giveaway} CLOSED

Last week we enjoyed a wonderful meal with my in-laws from out of state, courtesy of Disney’s Lady and the Tramp. It was the perfect precursor to Valentine’s Day with the wonderful love story found in this animated classic. Besides receiving the Diamond Edition of the movie, we received some dinner party supplies and some fun paper crafts and activity sheets.
To start off our fun evening, we enjoyed a wonderful spaghetti dinner in honor of the infamous spaghetti scene from the movie, complete with candlelight.
 Our dinner consisted of spaghetti with italian sausage, cesar salad and french bread fresh from the oven!
It was fabulous meal shared with extended family and enjoyed by all.  Extra touches such as a red tablecloth and candle made it seem all the more special. We then followed up dinner by snuggling on the couch and watching the Diamond Edition of Lady and the Tramp together and enjoying some popcorn once our stomachs had a chance to settle!

The boys loved the movie and while they had seen clips of it when they were younger, they hadn’t yet seen the movie in its entirety.  Laughter could be heard at the silly antics of Lady as a puppy (who knew a puppy trying to climb stairs would start a fit of giggles?) and they stayed entertained through the entire film. Watching it reminded me of how much I loved Lady and the Tramp as a child and I loved being able to experience it again with my own children.

Did you know that LADY AND THE TRAMP was named number 95 out of the “100 Greatest Love Stories of All Time” by the American Film Institute in their 100 Years…100 Passions special? Believe it or not, it was one of only two animated films to appear on the list, along with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which ranked 34th.
