BRAVE from Disney Pixar Available On Demand {Viewing Party}

If you haven’t yet experienced Disney Pixar’s BRAVE, it is now available On Demand, the perfect way to enjoy the movie in the comfort of your home. If you aren’t yet familiar with this film, you’ll discover a fun adventure to an ancient land full of mystery and tradition.  This story is truly about family and the relationship between a mother and daughter. And of course there are plenty of laughs for any ages with Pixar’s signature humor!

Synopsis:

Set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland, Disney Pixar’s “Brave” follows the heroic journey of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to change her fate, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane), unleashing chaos in the kingdom. When she turns to an eccentric Witch (voice of Julie Walters), she is granted an ill-fated wish and the ensuing peril forces Merida to harness all of her resources—including her mischievous triplet brothers—to undo a beastly curse and discover the meaning of true bravery. The Film is rated PG.

Directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman and produced by Katherine Sarafian.

We had our own BRAVE viewing party on Thanksgiving. Each year my mother picks out a new movie for all the kids to watch together. This year it worked about perfectly to watch BRAVE! Beforehand we got some fun pictures on our very own “red carpet”.
Getting them all to sit still long enough was a challenge. They couldn’t resit being a bit silly for the camera. My three year old niece Bella absolutely loved the BRAVE backdrop and red carpet. In fact, she was happy to model several poses with her new movie themed cups that she adored.

As a family we all settled in to watch the move after our Thankgsiving feast. It was the perfect way to wind down after a long day and with full bellies.  I love movies like BRAVE that the whole family can enjoy together.
