Sparkling Holiday Gifts Galore: Hot Toys List Giveaway from Magic Beans

The holidays are sneaking up on us fast. And if you are like me, you don’t yet know exactly what to get anyone everyone this year. That is why we’ve partnered with Magic Beans, one of our favorite online resources for the best toys and baby gear, to offer a prize package of the some of the HOTTEST toys for 2012.  Magic Beans knows kids and they know toys. As an added bonus, by supporting them you are supporting small business.  And if you’re looking for gift ideas for kids, you must check out their Gift Guides.

We’re excited to offer a giveaway of FIVE toys hand-picked from their guides that are sure to please kids this holiday season with a total value of just under $300.

Hot Holiday Toys Giveaway

1. Mini Kick Scooter by Kickboard USA ($85). This is THE scooter for preschool aged kids to cruise the neighborhood. The Mini Kick design is simple and intuitive for 3 – 5 year olds to master with two wheels in front for stability and a rear brake for easy stopping. It’s also super light at only 3.3 pounds. We love that the wheels are non-marking to allow for some Christmas morning test runs inside the house.

2. P’kolino Stack & Play Melody Maker Xylophone ($30). The Stack & Play Xylophone is a lot of toy in one package – stacking blocks, pounding toy and musical instrument. The simple design and bright colors will engage young toddlers and is recommended for kids from 12 months and up. The Xylophone includes five blocks and a mallet for music-making.

3. Melissa & Doug Suspend ($18). Suspend is a game of balance for the whole family to enjoy. One at a time, players place rubber-tipped wire rods on the structure and build it taller and taller. The game requires hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills and is geared towards kids 8 and older.

4. Playmobil Future Planet e-Rangers Headquarters ($130). Playmobil sets are amazing and guarantee hours of entertainment and pretend play for kids, but the new E-Rangers HQ takes play to a whole new place: the future. The centerpiece in a collection of toys set in the year 2113, the Headquarters is an elaborate play set with awesome working details like a solar-powered fan, LED lights and laser gun.

5. PlanToys Dancing Alligator Pull Toy ($20). We love PlanToys and their eco- and kid-friendly approach to toys. This sweet little gator is a great pal for a new walker to practice toddling skills. An alligator pal who wiggles and clacks as he moves – what fun! I purchased this Alligator a couple of years ago and it has been a favorite of my son Warren’s.
