Growing up in Minnesota, it is impossible to not be familiar with the Land O Lakes® brand. From milk to sour cream, we always seem to have something in the fridge from Land O Lakes. I remember the first time I was introduced to Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil. It has been a staple at my in-laws for many years and a product that I often purchase to compliment regular stick butter. I’m a huge butter fan but I appreciate the spreadable consistency right from the fridge.
Did you know that Butter with Canola Oil is made with only three simple ingredients: sweet cream, canola oil and salt? And with no artificial ingredients, I can feel good serving it to my family.
Other spread products contain up to 15 ingredients. Butter with Canola Oil only contains three simple ingredients, which results in a creamy, delicious, spreadable texture.
I was recently sent some “kitchen simplifiers” to make my time in the kitchen even easier, including a spreader and of course a coupon for some Land O Lakes Butter with Canola Oil.
The spreader and spreadable butter worked great for my easy herb and cheese drop biscuits! The butter almost instantly melted and was so good! We love using it on almost anything and everything from our french toast to our steamed veggies to our bagels. This large tub was gone in a week with our family of five so we definitely put it to good use!

I like stoneware dishes. They can go from the oven, to the table, to the freezer/refrigerator.
I like to prewash and prep (if needed) fruit and vegetables so it’s readily available for snacks and quick sides.
I buy pre washed salads in bags and chopped nuts.
when I am chopping onions or celery I alway chop a big amount and keep in the frig or freezer so they are ready when I need them
I have a mini-chopper and it use it almost daily!
i love my salad spinner saves me so much time
I have a husband who does the prep!
I take out an extra bowl just for garbage that accumulates when cooking, and then I only have to take one trip to the garbage can, instead of running back and forth!
I have food garbage right next to the sink. As I wash and peel it goes right into the food garbage.
I like to use my food processor to chop, shred and blend in seconds.
I try to ‘shred in bulk’. I shred whole blocks of cheese at once…because fresh shredded tastes WAY better than store bought shredded…same with vegetables. That way I can just grab and toss together a quick salad or snack or add to recipe quickly.
I have a spice stack and it has made my life easier because I can have my spices organized
I buy a lot of prepackaged or frozen veggies
Kitchen timeliness is dependent on kitchen cleanliness. My roommates clean so I can effectively cook. The other thing that helps is a great spice rack (which I need a new one of).
I use my pizza cutter to cut lots of things
I like to use my food processor to chop, shred and blend !
I delegate as much of the tasks to the kids that I can. They enjoy it and it helps me out.
I like to cook enough that there will be leftovers to freeze or eat within a few days!
I clean and cut up my vegetables for future use in the kitchen.
I make baked goods in my food processor. It’s always on the counter and it can go right in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
