Have a Miracle Stain You Want to Keep? Use Tide Stain Savers!

The big game is almost here! And while my team might not have made it into the Super Bowl, I’m still looking forward to a good game and all the rest that comes with it. You know what I’m talking about…

For many, the latter is their favorite part.

Ads seem to draw everyone in. And given the amount that advertisers spend for their place during the Super Bowl, it is no wonder that they get extra creative to draw your attention. It really is the one time of the year that no one wants to miss the commercials!

A proud sponsor of the NFL, Tide has come out with their own hilarious new infomercial spoof for “Stain Savers” and a social media program called “Save it! Or Wash it in Tide!” for Super Bowl XLVII.

According to Tide, whether it is a stain that you got on the first date with your spouse or a peanut butter stain that resembles Elvis, some stains may actually be worth keeping.

Who knew?

“Tide Stain Savers” are nifty little patches that protect these memorable stains from being cleaned away in the wash. Why get rid of a stain that can remind of you something else? With Tide Stain Savers, you can keep your stain forever! Watch to learn more and get a chuckle:

On January 21st Tide released this Stain Savers infomercial video as a teaser to its upcoming Super Bowl ad. You can also catch a testimonial for Tide Stain Savers!

All of this is leading up to Tide’s Super Bowl ad, which will air during the 3rd quarter of the big game on February 3rd. Tide’s last Super Bowl ad in 2008 featured a “talking stain” but now there’s a new stain in town. This year’s ad features a “stain worth keeping.” It also features both teams in the Super Bowl—the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers!

Be sure to look for it and visit Tide’s Facebook and Twitter pages. They’ll be posting images depicting amusing stains that some would theoretically choose to keep. Fans are then asked if they would “Save it!” or “Wash it in Tide!”

Don’t forget to tune in to the game during the 3rd quarter to see Tide’s big ad!
