I am sure you all realize we are right in the middle of March Madness.  It’s the time of year when everyone goes crazy about their NCAA College Basketball brackets.  Personally I am not a huge college basketball fan until March Madness starts, then my husband and I get serious.  Every year he and I fill out brackets and wager a dinner of choice with eachother.  I base my bracket most years on University of Kentucky Wildcats winning.  Sometimes this works for me, sometimes not.  I lived in Kentucky for several years and they bleed blue there for the Wildcats.  I was ecstatic as I watched UK upset Witchita State to move on to the Sweet Sixteen.  Now I have to wait for when they play Louisville which is a huge deal if you happen to be from Kentucky!  There have been many upsets already, maybe Kentucky can win it all?  GO CATS!

Fisher10My husband and I had a little party as we were watching the UK game earlier this week.  We invited over the in-laws, baked some chicken legs and served snacks.   I received some new Fisher Nut Exactly Snacks which were perfect for the event.  Made with Roasted Almonds combined with Whole Grain Popcorn and dipped in 64% Cacao Real Dark Chocolate, these were the perfect snack item for the party!

Fisher30How do you make the perfect March Madness party?

1.  Decorations:  Among other items I used my sons basketball lights to accent the room

2.  Paper goods:  Colored plates, napkins, cups to match your favorite team.  I of course chose blue!

3.  Beverages:  Whether it be juice boxes or beer, you are sure to need beverages as you and your guests will undoubtedly be yelling at the TV.

4.  The perfect snack:  in our case Fisher Nut Exactly snack bites, chicken legs, and chips and salsa.

Fisher Nut Exactly Snack BitesFisher Nut Exactly is a snack I feel good about serving and eating as it is made with no artificial ingredients.  I love these snack bites.  It is just the perfect combination of salty and sweet.  My kids are on the fence about them.  I think they were hoping for milk chocolate, not dark chocolate. Danica said she didn’t like them at first, but then proceeded to eat a handful and tell me she changed her mind and they were pretty good. I  personally prefer dark chocolate so I thought they were perfect.

It would come in handy for a late night snack when I cannot decide whether I want something sweet or salty. This is the perfect combination of a sweet and salty snack. It is definitely perfect on movie night occasions because it has popcorn, almonds, and chocolate combined.
