After a year of reading blogs and enjoying our private blogs for our kids I started my own blog as my chance to be creative in February 2009. It really doesn’t take a whole lot of creativity when my kids are such an inspiration. They are an endless stream of great ideas!
Lucian is a silly, outgoing and smart three year old who loves to play with anything transportation related (bring on the trucks, trains, boats and planes!) cuddle and continues to surprise us daily with his inquisitive nature. He is very outgoing, just don’t ask him to sing in public or start belting out to your favorite tune in the car. At least now he asks nicely with a please at the end versus screaming, “STOP SINGING!”(I tell myself that my singing isn’t THAT bad…)
Warren is my active two year old who loves to climb and explore everything so he keeps me on my toes! He likes to give hugs and is obsessed with all things Toy Story and Mr. Potato Head. If you are hungry, he will happily share his food with you and if you get hurt he is right there with his sympathy, offering a kiss. Just don’t try to convince him he needs share with his brother or get strapped into the shopping cart seat if he isn’t in the mood.
I’ve become a stay at home mom after being a full time working mommy. After seven years in the corporate world, I left my job last August to stay with my boys. As a mom who has been on both sides, neither is any easier, they are just different. I strongly believe that mothers should to support one another no matter whether working outside the home is the right for their family.
My blog has become my outlet for finding time that is just for me. I love to write and I love sharing the motherhood experience! Please follow me in this journey with humorous posts about all the silly things my kids do and the crazy things I find myself doing. Feel free to laugh at me, I love to laugh at myself. I’ll also share with you the reviews and giveaways featuring products I love or have recently discovered!
