Baby Bunch Crayon Romper Set {Giveaway}

The Baby Bunch Logo The Baby Bunch is a great resource for finding a practical yet beautiful baby gift. With so many options that would look great at a baby shower, hospital room or to welcome mom and baby home, the hardest part will be deciding on which one to choose!  I had the chance to check out the bright and colorful Crayon Romper Set.
This set of three onesies  is carefully rolled, secured and placed in a gift box to resemble a box of crayons. Each one-piece is made of super-soft 100% cotton and generously sized for infants 0-6 months (or up to 16 lbs). A red, great and orange romper is included, making it the perfect choice for a boy or girl.

I personally love the colors chosen for this set. It is a break from the typical pastel or gender identifying pink or blue. Instead it is a bright and colorful mix and a fabulous addition to any infant’s wardrobe.  I’m also impressed by the softness and affordability of this set!

The Baby Bunch also has some other great baby gifts including cupcake onesies and their signature baby bunch bouquets!

Buy it: The Crayon Romper Set retails for $24.95. Get FREE SHIPPING with a purchase of $50 or more with the code SUMMER at checkout.

Father’s Day with Things Remembered {Review & Giveaway}

Things Remembered Logo

Finding the perfect Father’s Day gift can be frustrating. I know I can’t be the only one that thinks shopping for a thoughtful gift for a man is more complicated than a woman.  A woman is easy, just buy her something pretty. Men on the other hand just aren’t so simple. If you are still stumped for the perfect Father’s Day gift, you must check out the options available at Things Remembered. With very little effort you can show the father in your life just how appreciated he is!

A wonderful gift this Father’s Day would be the BBQ Gift Set!

Things remembered BBQ Set

BBQ is serious business. Recipes, techniques, grills and smokers are family treasures closely guarded and passed from generation to generation. And every grillmaster, novice or expert, needs a great set of tools to call his own. This 4-piece set has everything you need: barbeque fork, tongs, basting brush and slotted spatula. The tools are housed in an attractive wooden box. Engrave it with his name and you’ll leave no doubt who’s King of the Grill.

Things Remembered Father's Day 1My husband is definitely the grill master in our house. ( To be honest I’ve never even worked our gas grill before.) I know this set will make a great Father’s Day gift that is practical as well. It won’t be a gift that goes unused and for that I’m thankful!

Things Remembered Father's Day 3The quality on the handles is wonderful and the carrying case it comes it gives it a very professional and sleek look. The outside includes a nameplate for easy engraving. You can go traditional with his name or Happy Father’s Day or have a little fun with it. You could get creative and use such words as hot, on fire, grill master, etc.

Things Remembered Father's Day 2If barbecuing isn’t his thing then Things Remembered can help you something that it is just right. With Father’s Day categories like classic dad, tech dad, sports dad and more it is easy to narrow down the many choices such as this Heritage Pocket Knife for $25

Things Remembered Heritage Knifeor this computer mouse for $20! Both of these are very affordable options and have practical uses as well!

Things Remembered Father's Day Mouse

Buy it: The BBQ Gift Set retails for $65.00 (engraving is additional). It can only be purchased at Things Remembered.  Free shipping on orders over $100!

With standard delivery, order by Tuesday, June 15th and Next Day Air by Thursday, June 17th in order to have your purchase in time for Father’s Day!

Flirty Aprons ~ Cooking with Style! {Review & Giveaway}

flirty Aprons Logo

Products that were once ghastly or boring have become stylish in a new trend that has emerged over the last few years. One of my favorite transformations has been with aprons.  Aprons used to be matronly and certainly not flattering to the figure or *gasp* actually look good. Growing up with my mom, the fabulous cook and baker, aprons were always found in our kitchen but they certainly weren’t anything that would actually be fun to wear.

Flirty Aprons was started by two married couples who have helped to change apron industry. No longer are we stuck with drab, unflattering options. Just feast your eyes on these  aprons that you look forward to putting on over your dress during a dinner party or to simply bake cookies with your kids.

Flirty Aprons 1With many styles to choose from you are certain to find just the right apron to reflect your personality and style! Imagine surprising your husband with a fabulous Valentine’s Day feast wearing a flirty apron and whatever else you choose to taunt him with underneath! (Just imagine the possibilities!)

December 28 2009 072I chose the Original Sassy Black apron to satisfy my own craving for an apron that is fun but will go with everything in my wardrobe. I love the fun fabrics used and was surprise at the quality of the material. The apron ties are wide and allow you to wrap them around to the front to create a bow. This is my favorite feature as I have a couple of aprons which barely make it around so I’m stuck tying it behind me (which I hate) or having it tied rather tightly in front. I also love that pockets are included! The tie at the neck allows for you to have complete control over the fit. I thought that I might find that annoying but I ended up appreciating that control.

Flirty Aprons also has adorable children’s aprons and fun men’s aprons available.

Flirty Aprons kids mens

Flirty Aprons are range from $24.95 to $29.95, with same day shipping on orders placed before 4 pm EST.  If you are fast you can use the code APRON15 for an additional 15% discount! But hurry, this code expires 12/31/09.

Klutz ~ The Encyclopedia of Immaturity {Review & Giveaway}

Encyclopedia_PRIZINGa

Do you have anyone on your gift list this holiday season that would appreciate hilarious books which bring out their immaturity? This may be your 12 year old son , your 9 year old granddaughter or perhaps like me you have a 37 year old brother in law who still has not lost his own sense of immaturity and enjoys sharing it with those around him. Then The Encyclopedia of Immaturity and The Encyclopedia of Immaturity Vol. 2 from Klutz would be the perfect humorous gift this holiday season, guaranteed to get a laugh.

When the Editors and Klutz published The Encyclopedia of Immaturity in 2007, we knew it would make a great gift for someone’s nephew. And, sure enough, people gave it to their nephews — but also to their grandparents, brothers-in-law and accountants. Soon we were flooded with letters, e-mails and calls sharing one common theme — “”More! More! More!”

So here’s a second helping of skills, activities, and secret knowledge — suitable only for those whose maturity stopped developing around the age of 12. In addition to thought-provoking topics like What We Talk About When We Talk About Wedgies, the book includes detailed directions for how to: fake a cold, slide down a banister, balance a ping pong ball on your nose, send a toiletgram, throw a sloshie, and more. It’s all new and all hopelessly goofy.

For years we’ve felt like the only kids at the grown-up table. Now it turns out the world is populated by a lot more people who are lot less mature than they look. Well, duh!

encyclopedia immaturityvolume2spread2Looking through The Encyclopedia of Immaturity Vol. 2 I couldn’t help but chuckle and even laugh out loud at some of the suggestions. How could I not when I’m viewing step by step instructions on how to create orange peel dentures, how to make a juice box straw rocket and how to fake a sword fight?  All of this is written with tongue in cheek humor and fun pictures.

This would make the perfect gift for that hard to buy for anyone with a good sense of humor or someone would appreciate some new material in which to showcase their immaturity!Photobucket

Jewelry by Artwark {Review & Giveaway}

Jewelry by Artwark Header

I’ve always loved how just the right piece of jewelry can complete a look. Sometimes I like to be bold and stand out but usually I go for the more classic or unique pieces.  Jewelry by Artwark has amazing jewelry that can help you accomplish whatever look you are trying to achieve. I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to review any two pieces, although narrowing them down wasn’t so easy. I decided to go for a classic look with these beautiful Caribbean Rains teardrop earrings…

Jewelry By Artwark Caribbean Rains

and this To the Moon silver necklace.

Jewelry by Artwark MoonThis combination worked perfectly for a dinner date I had with my husband last week. I’ve actually been wearing the necklace every day since. It seems to work well with virtually everything! The quality is great and the chain isn’t the super skinny and oh-so-frail kind we’ve gotten from a jewelry store. Because it doesn’t hang, it isn’t so susceptible to pulling from my 19 month old. (I’ve lost oh so many necklaces that way!)

The earrings are a beautiful color and are light and not overpowering. The only problem I had was they didn’t come with any backs. While I have plenty sitting in my jewelry box, it didn’t even occur to me to use them and I lost one of my earrings later that night. Thankfully I found it in my dinning room almost immediately!

Jewelry by Artwark has so many other fantastic pieces like this Yes, Oui I do necklace!
